Kinky Kollege: Spring Break

Rosemont, IL

A three-day event taking place at a beautiful hotel and convention center just 10 minutes from O’Hare International Airport and a short ride from Downtown Chicago. Classes provided by the top alternative lifestyle educators on everything you always wanted to know but were afraid to ask and are designed for students at every level of experience, ranging from beginners to the extreme edge player. Dozens of classes, 15,000 square foot playspace with over 75 pieces of equipment, social spaces, professional photography, and, of course, kinky vendors!

Delaware Arts Festival

Delaware, OH

Two days of art, fun, food, and entertainment the whole family can enjoy. Once again, a sea of white tents will line both sides of Sandusky and East & West Winter Streets, with artists exhibiting their creative work, including jewelry, leather creations, tie-dyed art, pottery, paintings, photography, and much more. Food trucks, Concessions, and musical entertainment are scheduled for South Sandusky Street. This is a completely volunteer-run event and is dedicated to providing scholarships for Delaware County high school graduates who are continuing their studies in the visual arts at the University level.

Royal Oak Live!

Royal Oak, MI

Presented by Henry Ford Health and brought to you by The Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce, we’re bringing you two days of world-class smooth grooves to Centennial Commons Park on June 24 & 25 at no charge to attendees! We will create a culturally diverse vibe at the event by inviting artists and exhibitors with an international focus. Grab your lawn chairs and a drink from a local restaurant, and come spend the day in our downtown park. Food trucks will be ready to serve you a quick bite as well. The music will feature a lineup of musicians within the Funk, R&B, and Jazz genres. Artistic Director Alexander Zonjic, an International award-winning musician and producer, will bring his years of experience and talent to make sure we have an amazing musical experience.

Art on the Mall

Toledo, OH

UToledo Alumni Association’s outdoor juried art show featuring more than 100 artists from all over the country showcase their artwork. This free, public art show offers an eclectic mix of work from our artists each year, including acrylic, glass, pen and ink, oil, mixed media, metals, photography, ceramics, textiles, watercolor, woodwork, jewelry, and more. This year is the 30th year of Art on the Mall which is located on Centennial Mall on The University of Toledo Main Campus.

Belle Isle Art Fair

Detroit, MI

Belle Isle is a beautiful island park reached by bridge from Detroit. The art fair is in a grass field adjacent to the beautiful Scott Fountain. People from all over love to come to the island and it’s packed with people on summer weekends. Detroit’s weekly magazine, The Metro Times declares that this is the best art fair in the area.

Milford Memories

Milford, MI

The first festival was held in August 1992 and revolved around a musical production entitled “Milford Memories.” It told the story of Milford’s founding fathers, based on the book, “Ten Minutes Ahead of the Rest of the World.” The play was written by Jamie Mason, and Michael McGuire wrote the score. The festival’s purpose is to help the community by providing many area groups and organizations the opportunity to raise much-needed dollars and a way in which to promote themselves. It allows businesses to market themselves in creative ways and to enjoy increased business during the festival. The festival also promotes the Huron Valley community by showing thousands of festival visitors that the Huron Valley community is a great place to work and live.

Toledo Pride Festival

Toledo, OH

As Northwest Ohio’s largest and most recognized event for the (LGBTQIA+) community, the Toledo Pride Festival is a large-scale, outdoor event showcasing the best local entertainment. The festival also boasts a parade, food, merchandise vendors, and networking with numerous community organizations, including social groups, churches, and health and wellness groups. This year’s events will be held Friday, August 18, through Sunday, August 20 and includes Kick-off, Parade, All-day Festival, and Big Rainbow Brunch Crawl.

Royal Oak, MI

Soaring Eagle Arts, Beats & Eats presented by Flagstar Bank is Oakland County’s celebration of art, music, food and community that take place in Downtown Royal Oak on Labor Day Weekend. The festival attracts hundreds of thousands for an end-of-summer celebration not to be missed!

Black Swamp Arts Festival

Bowling Green, OH

Experience three days of free concerts and fine art shows in historic downtown Bowling Green, Ohio. Award-winning art festival and the largest free live music festival in Ohio. Fun fact: The Black Swamp Arts Festival is a non-profit run entirely by volunteers held the first full weekend after Labor Day. Admission is free. Seriously, there are no tickets. It’s a great time for all.

Midwest FurFest

An annual convention where enthusiasts come together to celebrate the furry fandom, which includes art, literature, and performances based around anthropomorphic animals. Additionally, the convention showcases and raises funds for animal-related non-profit organizations such as wildlife sanctuaries, rescue agencies, and charities related to support animals.
