Sharing the Love - Meet Poly's Pleasures.

beautiful chainmail top by Polys Pleasures, a friend of Serenity in Chains

Meet my friends at Poly's Pleasures!

One of the things I love so much about owning Serenity in Chains is that I get to travel around the country, meeting so many amazing people. One such trip landed me in front of a gorgeous chainmail top that I just had to touch and admire.

It was in the booth of Poly's Pleasure, and I fell in love with their work and want to share them with you!

Rising from the ashes, a brand new collection that celebrated adversity and strength

Phoenix Rising - are you ready to rise? A new jewelry collection celebrating strength and adversity

Phoenix Rising - a celebration of beautiful strength.

When I started designing this collection, I just wanted to do something beautiful with reclaimed copper. I thought it would be great to take something discarded, and give it renewed life. To temper it in the flames and watch it emerge with new beauty. I never imagined that it would come to symbolize something so much more meaningful.

The collection was supposed to be ready last fall, then we got rough news. We had to move, and quickly

Sexual Assault Awareness Month

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month!

Can we get serious for a moment? I want to take a minute to recognize that this is Sexual Assault Awareness month.

Sadly, 1 in 5 women and 1 in 71 men will experience sexual assault in their lifetime according to the CDC. It's a frightening statistic compounded by things like victim shaming, social stigma, and lack of reporting. It needs to stop, and that starts with awareness, reporting, and victim support.

Can you shower with your jewelry?

Can you shower with your jewelry on?

Can you shower with your jewelry?

It's one of the most common questions I get from people that have purchased jewelry from Serenity in Chains.

I get it, taking your jewelry off and putting it back on every day just to shower can be a hassle. Not only does it take time and dexterity, you might accidently misplace it in the process, never to see your beloved piece again.

Or, as is the case with most of my clients, your lifestyle prohibits that you remove your jewelry (such as with our locking bdsm collars).
